MMSEA Section 111 reporting is entering 2012 with a bang!  CMS has just released a new edition of the User Guide (Version 3.3) and Section 111 reporting for liability claims has now started.

As the New Year begins, it is important that claims practitioners and professionals are up to speed with CMS’ updated Section 111 directives, what issues remain outstanding, and where Section 111 reporting is headed in general in 2012.

This webinar analyzes CMS’ new policy changes and other key Section 111 compliance issues.  Topics to be addressed include:

  • Breaking down CMS’ new liability TPOC reporting thresholds
  • Hot Topic Issues – Where is Section 111 reporting headed in 2012?
  • Determining Medicare status – Current issues and recent court decisions
  • Query Process’ limited role in the bigger picture of MSP compliance
  • Building workable compliance protocols
  • Reforming Section 111 – Update on current proposals in Congress (SMART Act)
  • Question/Answer session
